Privacy Policy

There is no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We never ask for your name, email address or payment details in order to use a tool, and the entries you put on a wheel are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

If you email us, we keep that message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you. That is the only personal data we ever receive directly.

The tools remember your work in your browser local storage, which stays on your device and is readable only by this site. Nothing in it is sent to us. These are the exact keys used:

You can remove all of it at any time by deleting this site data in your browser settings. Doing so resets the tools to their defaults and affects nothing else. A private or incognito window discards the same data automatically when you close it.

When a wheel is shared, its entries and settings are encoded into the link itself rather than saved on a server. Anyone holding the link can read them, so treat a shared link as public and keep confidential names off a wheel you intend to share.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how the site performs, measured in aggregate. It tells us that a page was viewed, roughly which part of the world it was viewed from and which browser was used. It does not tell us who you are, and it is never combined with anything you type into a tool.

You can stop Google Analytics collecting anything by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

If advertising is enabled, we will identify the ad providers in use and explain the choices available to visitors. We will not describe advertising as active before it is actually live.

Before serving personalised ads where consent is required, WheelSpinnerNow will use a Google-certified consent management platform to ask for and record the appropriate choice. You will be able to change that choice from the privacy controls presented with the consent message.

If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area, or a US state with comparable law such as California, you have rights to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. Because we hold no account data, most requests concern analytics or advertising choices, which you can control through your browser and any privacy controls displayed on the site.

For anything else, including a message you sent us, get in touch and we will deal with it.

These tools are widely used in classrooms, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. A teacher can use every tool on the site without any pupil entering personal information.

This policy was last updated in September 2026. When it changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
